Gibca is the licensee of Hufcor for the whole of the Middle East Region and has built a strong relationship with the globally recognized brand for the past two decades. In collaboration, we worked with our mutual client in refining their project criteria and finding a perfect creative solution for their space management objective. We needed to manage the convention center’s space as efficiently as possible allowing for the division of space as needed. Our solution – the revolutionary and versatile, Hufcor Series 600TM. Manufactured with two focus elements, durability, and ease of operation, the Hufcor Series 600TM also has industry leading 56 STC for projects requiring ultra acoustics. We designed and created an amazing ground to ceiling 18 meters height operable wall. This product makes the Doha Convention Centres space free-flowing and flexible to change based on their needs. The efficient track system enables panels to negotiate turns and use alternate locations allowing for ultimate design flexibility. The top and bottom horizontal sound seals are retractable and provide floor clearance to accommodate out-of-level floors.

We have done over 50,000 installations worldwide, but this project was a thrilling experience. Our technical team was enthusiastic by the challenge of creating, designing, and installing the world’s tallest operable wall.
